hi there, its me again!

i released this game a while back in the clickteam forums, but i might aswell post it here too.

Its just a simple fps demo of what i did with the opengl object, perhaps to inspire, perhaps to see if i could, not sure. Anyway, i give you the game, and the source! So do what you want with it, but don not forget to have fun!

Controls:
WASD - moves
Shift - Crouch
Space - Jump
1 - pistol
2 - throwing stars
left mouse - chop em up with ya handy axe
right mouse - throw star or shoot pistol

Features:
* Projectiles can richochet if the angle is low enough!
* The enemies can block! woho
* a short level!
* kill mutant ninjas

mmf 1.5 opengl object and some other stuff.

Wow, really quite amazing, this does not feel like a mmf game.

the only problem i had was getting stuck (in the wall?) after using my axe and bouncing off one of the enemies.

Once again, amazing stuff.

Nice the enemies were quite hard to kill though. I also had a strange problem where I was attacked and suddenly my character's walking was not controllable? Like I was sent flying then got stuck in a corner

Posted by Zethell 19th December, 2006

Well nice i guess..
A friend of mine made a Duke Nukem 3d Replica in MMF, not limited to be withing walls, and you made levels ingame.

Pistol / Shotgun / RPG worked ingame..

Whatever happend to that game....... hmm..

Posted by Zethell 19th December, 2006

Anyways, less work on this and more work on Dawn of Daria!

Posted by Chrisbo 19th December, 2006

This is pretty sweet! I mean it's dated..but pretty cool for mmf. Some polish here and there and it would be a cool little engine.

Posted by Ben 19th December, 2006

Looks like one of the best examples of fps games I've seen made with MMF

Posted by Bo Fu 20th December, 2006

Fix the movement and it'd be perfect!

Posted by thewreck 20th December, 2006

letoZath: hehe dont worry, i made this a long time ago. so its all daria now!

andy adam: ah, thanks for bug notice, but the source is right there... =

chrisbo: oh yes its dated! =

ben: thanks

bo fu: jippie. heh.

Posted by Ski 20th December, 2006

LOL why do people always go =

Posted by Bo Fu 20th December, 2006

I really like everything about it. Are the walls variable angle, too?

I have to finish my FPS soon... congrats, you beat me to it

Posted by Reno 20th December, 2006

Ya it looks like you figured out the 3D bullet, this was really hard for me but yours is still a bit glitchy

Posted by Willy C 20th December, 2006

looks really awesome. But It lags on my computer

Posted by Simon Colmer 20th December, 2006

this is a click game? WOW MAN you rock!

Posted by Neuro 20th December, 2006

Wow! Very impressive! I'd love to be able to make a game like this

Posted by Windybeard Games 20th December, 2006

looks impressive but i started flying far far away from the game zone when i got attacked, still looks good!

Posted by Reno 20th December, 2006

can you post funcloop.cox and IIF.cox? They are no longer available from clickteams database. I want to know how you enabled clicking with the fullscreen aspect ratio. My openGL object must be 640x480 and the window is 800x600 while the mouse is positioned at the bottom so you can click to shoot.

I have to say, I'm impressed. Great job.

Posted by Aptennap 20th December, 2006

Amazing job!

Posted by CsaR 20th December, 2006

This is great. I never imagined something like this could be done. The game worked fine for me.

Posted by thewreck 20th December, 2006

thanks for the comments!

reno: in the open gl X object there is a condition called "on mouse pressed" or something like that.

Posted by Retired Kliker Lazarus 20th December, 2006

It looks good, but the engine is kinda badish.

Posted by Dean Avanti 20th December, 2006

it says i need a bunch of files,
.mfx files, what do we need to use this.

Posted by thewreck 20th December, 2006

as far i as i know, you can only open this in mmf 1.5 since i think the opengl object never made it to mmf 2.

you instant if object and funcloop also.. not sure about the rest

Posted by Dean Avanti 20th December, 2006

ahh, so us MMF2 guys cant use it, should put that right at the top, shame looks interesting

Posted by Kai Proton 20th December, 2006

That is a Great creation

Posted by alastair john jack 20th December, 2006

very nice

but it would've been nice to have the extensions.

Posted by Mr. Ksoft 21st December, 2006

Wow. That's pretty awesome!

I'd wish to look at the source, but I'm missing funcloop.cox, kcmouse.cox, and IIF.cox.

Anyone know where to get them?

Posted by thewreck 21st December, 2006

ok, ill make a bundle with the extensions!! hehe.. should be added in a few

Posted by thewreck 21st December, 2006

added extensions to the bottom of the page

Posted by Johnny Look 21st December, 2006

man you rock, seriously.

Posted by Johnny Look 21st December, 2006

errr...something isn't right, it's asking for another extension.

Posted by thewreck 21st December, 2006

whats it asking for?

Posted by AndyUK 21st December, 2006

Yeah, I don't have mmf1.5 otherwise i would have looked at this.

shame,

Posted by axel 22nd December, 2006

You can open CCA files in MMF2, you know. Unless of course the KlikOpenGL extension hasn't been ported yet. Dunno.

Posted by Johnny Look 22nd December, 2006

kcmouse.mfx

Posted by thewreck 22nd December, 2006

ok, download the extensions.zip again, it now also contains that extension.

Posted by AndyUK 22nd December, 2006

"You can open CCA files in MMF2, you know. Unless of course the KlikOpenGL extension hasn't been ported yet. Dunno."

Yeah, and a lot of those extensions aren't ported as far as I know. I could get the MMF1.5 versions however i'd only be able to look at the thing rather than edit it.
