Play as Taizo Hori or his son, Susumu, in this fast-paced strategical arcade game, which takes influence from the much-loved classics Mr Driller and DigDug. It is your mission to rid Zambia of the invading blocks! Drill blocks of the same colour to get a massive score. Just don't lose air, else you're finished!

In Mr Dig, you need do no more than simply dig! Blocks that are touching each other and are the same colour will disappear in one go, so this is the best way to get rid of as many blocks as possible. This could mean that blocks from above will fall on you, so make sure you don't fall victim to this. Of course, being at such great depths means you could run low on oxygen, so picking up the green Oxygen tanks is always good.

High scores

Huzzah for DigDug publicity!

Didja know that Mr. Driller was going to be DigDug III, but they changed it to Mr. Driller?

Few problems though:

If you stand against the side of a block and hold left or right against it, you should be able to climb the one block.

Music... ouch.

Otherwise, with some polishing, it's a great Mr. Driller clone!

Dig Dug was my #1 favorite in the early 80's at the arcade. I gotta' check this out.

Yeah I had jumping in it to start with but I ended up taking it out for some reason

Nice little cool game ^^

I think it's better without jumping actually - means you have to plan a bit more ways of getting around the bad blocks.

Very nice, cartoony art style. I like it.

As a port of Mr Driller 1 and 2, it's rather similar. I never liked Mr Driller though. This doesn't inspire me either.

Absolutely great game as usual, would be better if I could increase the size of the window, but it doesnt really matter. I like the graphics style, and the audios pretty good, im still working out the purpose of two modes, whats the difference?

Awsome and addictive.

Would be better if the screen was larger and the blocks didnt fall in a "Tetris" fashion that leads to a lot of cheesy deaths.
