This is gonna be a classic carnage shooter I've been working on for a while and I think it's time to get some feedback so far...

So check it out and give me feedback. Thanks!

The handling should be easy...

Shoot - Leftclick
Move - Rightclick OR wasd OR Arrowkeys
Change Weapon - Space

Have fun!

Shame that I'm not really a fan of these games, but I love that title screen!

I'm not usually a big fan of pre-rendered graphics, but I'll take a look later.

I got a friendly "Cannot load dmc2.COX. This object might need an external program or library not installed." Error.

Did you include bass.dll?

Right, it's an ok game. The enemies that shoot at you are just silly though, because as the title screen shows someone getting boxed in and fighting out, that's just what happened. So I was going fine until a bunch of fireballs smashed me to pulp.

I also didn't like the fact I had to call up the task manager to actually get my computer back to a usable state.

Oh and a slight bug, with the flame thrower at least, if you keep shooting it then when it's timer goes to 0 it keeps going. I got a lot of kills from that.

Very cool, great graphics; although the main character's running animation looks kind of frantic. I'd highly suggest using the mouse/WASD key config, despite how generic it is. Not being able to strafe and having to shoot in the direction was annoying. Also, the guy could run a little faster, have a little more of a jump on the baddies. But otherwise, really awesome look and feel.

Thanks for the feedback Guru...
i will make the player able to use both, the WASD steering and that right-mouse-thing...
in fact i did not like that key and mouse combination in those kind of games thats why i did it that way... but if you think thats better... ok why not...

well, faster running will be possible if you want... i am implementing a whole customization tool that will include that... right beneath initial health of the player and the baddies as well as their frequency a.s.o.

so thanks again...

I agree with Guru. Skip the installer too... At least until your game goes full version. It's not like it's editing the registery, right?

Other than that, nice graphics!

OK
alternative moving by WASD or arrow keys implementet and i changed that player animation a little bit...

hope you'll like it...

Awesome! The WASD really helped me out, and I'm sure there's some other people who appreciate it to. Really beautiful effects, and that flamethrower is great for crowd control.
