Hello everyone!

Today I present you Starfighter.

This game is a game / technical demo that showcases the effects of light and particles. The gameplay is not very thorough, we must keep in mind that this is only a technical demonstration of possibilities engine HWA Multimedia Fusion 2.

This game will be presented in open source as soon as I finished putting the code to own and commented.

Purpose:

You must prevent small droides reaching the small sphere so that they did not pass his energy.

Control:

-- Click left to draw with turrets
-- Right click to get the laser

Minimum System Requirements:

-- Processor 1GHz
-- 256MB RAM
-- Graphics card compatible DirectX 9.0c

I have already tested on a 7800GS, not a single FPS minus, and a 9200 (antique card) that runs between 50 and 20 the worst image. So it is playable on cards that can not even run a fame purchased in stores that are under 3 years.

Good Game

Runs perfectly! (Athlon 64 X2 4000+, 1gb cheapo ram, 7900gs)

Looks amazing! Also reminds me of that scene in the last Matrix film (revolutions?), it looks cool if you let those things swarm the planet!

I hope to see some awesome looking click games once people get the hang of all this flashy stuff. As long as people use them right, and not just for the sake of having flashy graphics.

Not bad. Arcane Tale is using a lot of tech-demo styled special effects based entirely on HWA too. It's nice to see these games embracing 60fps to nicely. I can't be to immensely impressed over just some fancy addition shaders though, what I'm more impressed about, is how the graphics blend in with the shaders.

This is much less a tech demo of what MMF can do, but more so what you're graphical style can do in combination with MMF2.

Very nice effects. It runs perfectly on my computer. (Sempron 1.4 GHz, 7600 GS, 1GB RAM) FPS is 75. I'm really surprised that FPS is so high.

Yeah Clément! Nice to see you finally post yourself your own technical demonstration after Ghost Hunter.

Starfighter is far better and is very graphically impressive.

It's well made, but even a demo should probably have a bit more to do in it.

It's well made, but I'm having a huge headache after playing it. The overdone brightness and some of the color combinations hurt my eyes (badly) and then it turns into a headache

GO SEE A DOCTOR benjamin!

The colour combinations were fine and the demo did not give me a headache.

It's a very nice HWA demo. I can't believe you gave it 1 star. Weird.

Nice, but I think technical demos/showcases should be open source...otherwise, it's not particularly useful. Still neat to look at though.
