New version out! Features a difficulty meter (for those struggling), as well as updated save spot for the save file and a bug fix. Grab it at the same place
EiM is my submission for the 20 event competition. The premise of the game is to raise all the tiles by clicking around the board. However, as a catch, nearby tiles (based on the tool you selected) will also flip, causing a difficult and sometimes downright frustrating problem.
Features over 20 levels over 3 board sizes, complete with a save for your best click/time records.
Also, as a note, all levels are completable, although don't be afraid to experiment with the different available tools (available in the options menu) to solve them all.
Source will be made publicly available at the end of the competition, and can be used as a learning tool for micromanaging events.
Hope you enjoy the game (:
NOTE: For people having trouble, here are a few tips.
Full + tool (the ones with the corners of the square absent) are the best and easiest mentally to solve the puzzles; The empty + tool (one without the corners or the middle) are the best for puzzles 13-17.
Reducing to the least amount of square is often NOT the best idea (ex: having only one compressed piece on the board)
Moves are independent of each other, in that you can solve a puzzle with the minimum amount of clicks by clicking in the correct places in any order. This means the game is impossible to screw yourself over, and also that you should never need to click in the same place twice (if the puzzle is done correctly). This idea is really helpful in getting into the right mindset for solving each puzzle.
And finally, don't give up! It takes some practice at first (: I sucked when I started
