What you are downloading is the first level of urbanyx. This is my new platform game. This is a DEMO. This means things can be subject to change and not everything will make it to the final stage.

Note: The main sprite (astronaut) is not made by me. It was made by DavidN. The main sprite will change on the release of the game. Thank you. (I tried changing it before but I failed.)
just wondering. Stop playing it before it wastes a chunk of your life. I played it for a long time, had all rune armor and realized that I wasted hours of my life :\
Looks like you're on the way to some classic platform action here. I like the look of it, as well as the catchy background music.
While exploring, I realized I had trouble going back into the room displaying the message "collect keys to open doors." Was it just me, or is this by design? I'd been able to jump back into the narrower passages at other points, so I was curious.
One little bug I'd seen: if you don't exit the level immediately upon seeing the message "touch the red square..." then the message will be continually duplicated (or at least it was on my display) until it is moved off-screen. I'd recommend you double check and make sure you've cleaned up your events to prevent this from becoming an issue for you later on down the road. I think I've seen it before, and it's a matter of the "save background" option for the Object...I can't recall exactly.
As for the 'collect key to open doors' corridor problem.. I really can't say anything as you really have given me a slight of description. Not to worry, I'll go back and see.
On the 'touch the red square...' problem. I fixed it by checking "Save Background." Thanks!

Thanks Jon, I need all the feedback I can get to make this game run smoothly. Comment edited by weka on 5/17/2009
Very nice indeed. I love the engine, so smooth! I completed the level, but didn't submit my score because I'll start doing that when the full versions out, and I can start to practice more. Loving it so far! Good demo. Only down thing I see is that the music gets too repetitive. But it looking really good.
