Break-Out 360 is a remake of the classic game Break-Out. It introduces an entirely new style of break-out and has lots of fun. See if you can find the hidden feature in level 7! I'm known to have things hidden in all of my games...

What was your favourite part of the game, Alastair?

I liked the way that colourful ball spins, and you can make the ball bounce

I have to say I didn't like this at all, sorry. The ball moved too quickly, the game looks bland, there are no special visual effects (ie, the blocks just disappear... no explosions, no particles, nothing), there are no sound effects, I seemed to jump to the next level entirely at random. The music served to only annoy and I just felt the whole thing was uninspired and very poorly presented.

I liked the concept but it was excecuted in a lousy way. Ideally I would have given this 0/5 stars but the rating system won't allow me to do so. Again, don't lynch me for saying this, I hope you can try again with the idea and take this advice on board.

I know, and levels don't change randomly. If you read the instructions you'd see that when the ball leaves the screen you go to the next level. I am planning to remake this game, but for now this was the first game I ever finnished, and I figured I'd just post it. Thanks for the ideas!

I was going to make something like this! Oh well, first come, first serve or something. Good Job on this!

very creative and Unique twist for a "breakout" game.
I do have to agree with the one comment. If this had some special effects, etc. it would be even better!
Nice work LB

Nice idea, good attempt for a first game! If i was to improve it i would;

1. Vary and improve the graphics - graphics mean more to simple games and hurt more if they aren't so good!

2. Ensure the ball only fires from the centre near enough the way the paddle is facing - too often i didn't have enough time to make the paddle face the way the ball came from and lost a life, very unfair.

3. Change the music per stage.

4. Make it harder to win each stage, eg. make it so you have to clear all blocks on each side before you can pass, or something. Some levels were easier than others and all were too easy!

5. Add some effects and cooler power-ups.

Overall: not bad!
