I tried to make this game have a homely, children's program style theme. Sit back with a glass of apple cider, set your computer's resolution to 640 x 480 and spend half an hour playing this game from start to finish. Enjoy the delights of the voice acting and video clips, and the unexpected ending. This game has an unconventional and different style of story telling from most games.
CONTROLS
ARROW KEYS to move around (Up to jump)
RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON to suck enemies in
LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to blow yourself around
RIGHT + LEFT BUTTON to fire out projectiles
Please take some time to get used to the controls, I know it's a different way of doing things but I'm sure that you'll appreciate the different control system after a while. It really, really helps if you have a mouse.
This game was made in the space of 3 days for the Game Builder 2009 Halloween Competition, then I spent about 4 hours today adding the video clips and various other little features. You can't see the video clips if you switch to full screen mode, so if you do that it'll just switch to the audio for them.
Thanks to JosiahCT for the concept of sucking bats into hoovers and firing projectiles by pressing both mouse buttons.

I think that your problem is to do with you minimising and maximising the game again, which deletes the crosshair. I'm uploading a version now where that doesn't happen. Until then, just don't alt tab the game!
What a great experience, this is a great little title, took me about an hour to complete it, i won't spoil the ending for anyone but it made me laugh what happened to the bat sweepers mother lol!
The way you told the story was very unique & entertaining, I can't believe no one else has thought of this idea before its genius!
I really enjoyed the game music it fitted TBS very well i i never got tired of it!
The Game engine was 5 star couldn't fault it at all, it seemed very advanced too me i can see your no noob as the americans put it!
I was very impressed with the level design i'm sure you've spent a great deal of time play testing it so thumbs up there too. Two little points i would like to make though is that took me ages to figure out i could fire a dust ball by pressing the two mouse keys so naturally i was stuck tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to press the red wall buttons on level 2 i think maybe a little tutorial or sign on that bit would have helped. The second point was when i died i had to go back and watch the videos again & again, i know you can skip them but it was abit annoying.<br />
Graphically it could have been better this is where the game fells abit short but i can't really give you less than 5 stars this is a great little peace of entertainment!!!

Va1entine, I am indeed British, but it wasn't my voice in the video. I only did the voice of the main character. I was just mouthing the words in the videos. Mr_Tom is the lyrical genius!
Good fresh way of storytelling, music and sounds.
Horrible level design. Gameplay relies on pure luck and random jumps. Yeah, jumps are your worst enemy, not the bats. This is overrated!
Mikko Kobotti, i think i know what you mean but trust me its just because you havent quite figured out the way the jumping works, once you understand how to do it its not luck at all and the level design then starts to make sense and is actually quite good.
Yeah, you get used to that jumping and stuff. But levels look pretty deserted. Blob's adventure is unfair, I admit it, but it doesn't get as frustrating as this got. That's my opinion
Take your time, I tried something new and original with this game, it takes longer to adjust to than a bland, samey platformer Don't be scared of new things.
The video looked cool and fun. But it seems like the kind of game I'd find frustrating (because I don't have the motor skills to land between two spikes).
I got this game on your site it is amazing I love the element of flying with the gun. The game is pretty balanced. But I would fix a few glitches and add some easter eggs as the map has some really good areas that could be used.
