You are stuck in Violet, and all you see is a bottomless cliff. How can you get out? Everywhere you turn there are mysterious symbols, pathways, and always Violet. Explore everything and ultimately escape from this high-score platformer!

This is a metroidvania-type game with influences from Knytt and Star Gaurd.

Arrow keys to move around.
Up key to jump.
Enter key to open the shop.

Please note that this is a flash game and is located on Newgrounds for the time being. Once I've made a few flash games I'll load these games onto my own website. Sorry for the convenience / inconvenience! I'd still love to hear your comments and reviews on here instead of Newgrounds though!

Aww i just didn't want it to end! The music reminded me of PS1-era games, bringing back happy nostalgic memories of exploring corridors and warehouses in 3rd person shooters. The repetative violet platforms forming the maze in Violet also brought these memories back and as such i thought this game was magical!

A bit *too* simplistic for my taste. Reminds me a lot of "Plasma Warrior", only without the combat or storyline.

Short but fun. It would be good with a few more levels. Pretty linear but the curiosity of what I could buy next and what was on the next level (which was not to be) kept me playing.

Its a good game, but not deserving of a 5 star. The games just too short. It was fun to play the game and nice music. Whats up with character? He's just like a few dots. Thats okay though cause it fit the theme. This game was fun still and was a short, but great platforming adventure.

My thoughts match Andy's - was interesting to see what was coming next.

Create more levels - but maybe use different items to purchase as you go through, like aqualungs or pressure suits - i.e. don't just make the levels a slightly different design.

Some things were nagging me, like going back to the shop when you had collected like 2 coins.
Loved the mood however, although the timer kinda ruined the relaxing atmosphere. Anyway, cool lil' game! First MMF game I've seen on newgrounds!
