This is just a one level beta of my game to see what you guys think of it. Just reach the exit without running out of energy. You'll need to find gems to increase your energy capacity allowing you to explore further.

Controls

Arrows - Move
Z - Jump/Double Jump/Triple Jump
Spacebar - Restart

Items

Coin - Replenish 50 energy
Money Bag - Replenish 100 energy
Crystal - Refill energy
Gem - Refill energy and upgrade energy level
Energy Platform - Refills energy

I tried it and it's ok. It's just too repetitive and frustrating for me. I think I see what you were going for though. Maybe adding checkpoints might make it a bit better, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, I agree. Your energy goes down way too fast to encourage exploring. It's more a case of remembering what pattern you need to collect the items in in order to survive. It's a cool concept though!
