It's time to play Guess The Game!
Note: I did this to continue the tradition set in the ZSNES forums.
Q1: This game consists of a plumber trying to rescue someone from an (3 LETTER WORD).

Don't be silly Circy, nobody would use such a stupid premise for a game.

First one is correct, yet the last three are not. So it isn't Monkey Island.

which EfMI is this? I've only played the one with the ultimate insult
Stop calling him donkey knog, he's really monkey kong (stupid translators...almost as bad as zero wing )
As a boy, I wanted to be a train. I didn’t realize this was unusual—that other kids played with trains, not as them.

Escape from Monkey Island was the forth one, they're not all called Escape from Monkey Island.
If I said it may give the question away easily if I said which Monkey Island this was, but it may seem pretty obvious in the question itself.

Wrong! And the root was not cursed or uncursed in Secret of Monkey Island.
It's Guybrush Threepwood must journey to Blood Island to get an uncursed diamond to save Elaine.
And I never said it wasn't Monkey Island. Edited by the Author.

Donkey Kong was never intended to be called "Monkey Kong". The true story is that due to some bad translation, Miyamoto was under the impression that "Donkey" was a synonim for "Stupid".

That's a common mistruth. At least Pac-Man really was created from a pizza.

Teapot's correct. Apparently, Miyamoto found the word "Kong" as a synonym for monkey/gorilla in a thesaurus, so he used it. He actually got sued by (Universal?) for using the word Kong, but he won the court case.

Pac-man was first called puck-man, but lots of people changed it to f*ck-man
