If you hadn't already heard, especially to those outside UK and around the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire county, there was a stabbing incident at Bovingdon Market a couple of months ago, I saw it all, pretty much scarred me, but the story was some kid stole a pair of trainers from a stall. Then the stallman caught him, he grabbed him and before I knew it the kid grabbed a knife out and gave him two stabs to the back, I backed away in shock and loads of people screamed and ran off. I was on my own at the time since I came down with my brother who had fucked off somewhere. Quite scary to watch.
Anyway, the real point to this thread is I was wondering have you people ever witnessed anything similar... a stabbing, shooting, anything? Sick idea for a thread I know but there is alot of crime out there and I was wondering if you've ever seen something like that happen before your eyes?
I witnessed a woman getting robbed at a cashpoint in my local town of £100... but three guys chased after the thief and beat him to a bloody pulp. I would have made an effort to stop him too, but I had loads of shopping.
Tigerworks, it was right in the middle of a public place, the police would have already known about it in seconds. I wasn't the only one who saw it, quite alot of people saw it to.

I've been on the "It's a Small World" ride at the epcot center or disney world or wherever it is (I can't remember). It's just as horrendously painful as everyone makes out.
ive never seen anything like that. when i was a kid a mate of mine had a massive heart attack during PE which was just a tiny bit traumatic
OH but my brother got impaled on the school fence one summer trying to get a football back. that was cool, could see layers of fat and muscle all blended together in a soup on his chest
My friend Keenan and I were at 7-11 (mini mart) after coming from my house, and he was playing with this toy knife that I had from halloween, it looks real, and when you stab someone the blade goes inside the handle.
Anyway I come out of the store with some sodas and he charges me screaming like only a 6'6 black guy with an afro can.
He takes the knife and and stabs it into my chest, and I was totally taken by suprise, so my reaction was real, then I catch on and play along. SO then he drags me to the car and "throws" me inside, still screaming, and peels out of there, leaving a stunned audiance of about 15 people.

Now im 6' and he is at least 6" taller than me, plus a lil from the fro.

I don't really remember something like that in my life except for a fight where some kid got a kick in the face, but hell, it's stupid to turn away in a fight, if you're in a fight do not turn your back to the other. Except if the attacker's got a knife or something, unless you're good at fighting or don't mind to get stabbed several times, you'd best run away.

JP: Aha, a bunch of my mates and I ordered a half-dozen balaclavas just before holiday break. We're going to do something similar in which we'll pull up and throw someone in the boot on the main street in the shitty uni town. Afterwards the plan is to do a kind of reserviour dogs thing with someone in the back seat covered in blood and screaming, then go through the drive-in at mcdonalds.
Oh, absolutely. That's the whole point. I've got a folder full of stupid little movies we've made such as trashing people's rooms and attacking them dressed as evil clowns.
some guys stole my mates phone once which was fun.
my cousin came round, hes some big-scary-meat-head style person and as you would guess so are his mates. so we found out where the phone stealers where one night and anyways long story short; it involved all his mates with baseball bats and balaclavas jumping out of a van smashing everyone up in sight. unluckily for me cousin someguy threw a brick through his windscreen.
buuut he didnt get his phone back
cuz of that we have pretty much total immunity from idiots at our place. which is kinda nice
The pub I used to work in was a real dive located in a really shit part of town, meaning I saw a few stabbings, none fatal though, and many, many violent fights. It's not as entertaining in real life as it is in the movies.
oh! this happened a few months ago cant believe i forgot it, but a guy from my course works in a pub and one night the windows were shot through injuring a whole bunch of people.
I have witnessed my friends drinking alcoholic drinks, but in difference to your case it was quiet amusing .
LOL, this is the thread for having witnessed something bad like a stabbing or raping, not witnessing you friends drinking half a beer. Unless one of them got drunk and started killing everyone, then that's allowed.

I watched someone roll down some stairs behind me and then end up with his foot lying next to his head. It was gross as hell and I just turned around and slowly walked away (yes other people were getting help). I think he broke his leg and dislocated his hip. He was away from school for 1 term (1/4 of the year).
Also today this guy freaked me out at a store when he just bursted out at this guy that was follwing him. He was swearing really heavily and then eventually said "you're such a [frisky] bully" and the guy was walking away from him and kept on swearing. There were lots of small kids around too.
