Does The Daily Click allows adult content?
Puzzle bubble girl has it unsafe for children
and someone captured an unsafe picture from the game
and place it on the download page.
I have a child safe version. Replace it?
It's probably better if you replace it with the safe version. I accepted the game, but was too useless at it to discover the reward. I'll delete the image.
By the way, is your artwork inspired at all by the artist(s) at Supermegatopia? The style just seemed similar to me.
Adult content is allowed. Massive violence, swearing, drug use and racism are all acceptable. Just as long as there aren't any of those awful breast things anywhere.
Great, that's cleared things up. My next game will involve a gun-toting Ku Klux Klan heroin addict with Terret's Syndrome, who breaks into the Playboy mansion... oh, wait, that's not allowed. Who made these stupidly restrictive rules?
Radix is right. Not only at tdc, but all over. Its stupid, why is somethin un-human like blood goore rated 15 and something so natural as tits be rated 18?
Goddamn, the shite some people will play just to see some tits.
The game was actually when I was trying to kill two birds with one stone to teach one of my mates how to use MMF and 3D Studio, and what a fucking waste of time that turned out to be.
Maybe a rating system is the best thing - it's certainly something that I could bring up with the mighty Higher Admins. I can't understand myself why nudity is still the most "dangerous" of the four censorship areas (the other three being violence, language and another that escapes me at the moment. It's probably something to do with drugs.)
However (though, but) this system would either have to be voluntary, leaving it up to trust to self-evaluate your games, or admins would also have to rate games before adding them to the downloads page. I don't particularly like the second idea, as it would slow down the process a lot.
I think the majority of people who aren't twats already could be trusted to rate their own games. I've always given warnings about the violence in my games anyway.
A friend of mine uses AGS, and over on their exchange, they have a rating system where you put what your game includes... The Daily Click could use something like this, as long as there is a rating that says "Uber 1337 Trash, DON't DOWNLOAD teh Stuff, I DoN'T noes how to use MMF.!!!!1!!"

i think users have to self-rate on newgrounds, and those ratings usually seem accurate (not that i care if a toon is "rated" 12 or 18, if it's funny it's funny), so perhaps a similar system could work here.
