It's not hand drawn. It's drawn with a computer. And he looks kind of mickey mouse-like. Edited by the Author.

"It's not hand drawn. It's drawn with a computer."
Right...
I can't even come up with a response for that one. I'll just leave it alone.

If you didn't know, hand drawn means drawing with real materials. For example pencil and paper.

By your logic everything would be hand drawn.

looks crap, the colours blend together far too much, way more contrast and probly fewer colours needed.

It looks great, but I think someone must have tied a balloon to the mailbox of this thread on International Moron Day.

err good sprites would be good in a fangame like snerlin said, but the real megaman games use smaller sprites dont they?
Wouldn't know, don't play them.

I'm more of a big sprites man, so to speak.
Besides, when I make a game with these, the other objects will be done in a similar style and be proportionate in size.

Andy: depends on the game. The X series uses smaller sprites, but Rockman & Forte had big-ass ones.

Quite a nice sprite you have there.
The hair looks a little bit flat though compared to the rest of the character.
I can't really tell how the anims will look but since you have quite alot of frames for them they would propably be pretty fluid.

My dads on no authority, its the fact that he has no experience that counts- world wide industries produce games for generations with no knowledge on game design such as children and therefore it is hard to know what is wanted or what impresses. Seeming as my dad was impressed and he has no background knowledge of the subject, i would say these sprites are sucessful.
ps, whats with the handdrawn crap? im missing something here...

Okay then. In the computer gaming industry, the companies develop games to impress the customers, not the other companies. Therefore i see my dad as the customer, being impressed by the company (ie Kitsune Yamato).
