Has anyone else seen this series? I just caught a random episode on Adult Swim and it's easily one the most engrossing things I've seen lately (and it's got a good dub, double score). I'm definately going to be watching this one.
Heh, I agree too. I'm hardly a big fan of anime, but it's clear to see that Paranoia Agent is quite different from the norm. Very inventive and really quite gripping (Wow. Didn't think I'd say that about anime).
Incidentally, the 'norm' for anime can be quite depressing...(wide-eyes aside, scrolly-line backgrounds do not make action scenes cooler, and 'chibi'-style switches are little more than lame attempts at trying to make particular scenes seem funny). *breathes out*....aah, that's better. Ok, rant over =P
clwe, if you like that, you might also try watching Perfect Blue, it's an hour long anime thriller/drama done by the same director. It's pretty good too, might need to watch it a couple of times to get it totally though.
What? i dont think i said anything that even sounded like a comparison. just asked if you watchin em. but they dont compare. paranoia agent is in a different league. and ya peblo, adult swim and toonami are seperate im just sayin toonami used to be good. now its, well...not so. =(
