Oh you noobs! Do you not realise that the peanuts that you hail as your favourite nut aren't actually nuts at all? They're a type of pea that looks like a nut, thus pea nut (From the QI team, which of course rocks)

Dang, I love all nuts... but my favourite is the Filbert.
(It's technically the same as the Hazelnut)
Will work for pencils and sharpie markers.

not entirely true. a pea is a legume as is the peanut. its just from the same family.
"The word pea describes the edible seeds of many other legumes in the Fabaceae family, and in that sense, a peanut is a kind of pea"
