Pirates have giant galleons that would be anchored offshore of the ninja island compound, then they could just blast the shit out of their bamboo houses with their cannons. The ninja's could try and swim to the ship, but they would get tired and drown, or get shot out of the water.

The pirates would not even see the ninjas to blast them. And to get to the ships, the ninjas would simply run across the water and board. Then they could poke holes in the ship and run away. We all know pirates can't swim.
hasn't the ancient and secretive society of the ninja been traing for the emperor of japan since the early 1300, this would mean they have 705 years of training and wisdom, then on the over hand you have the outcasts of the late 1700's swinging mindlessly with salt rusted iron swords, drunk on home made rum with limited limbs and poor vocabulary.
i think we all know what im getting at, NINJAS RULE!
(but if you threw in a robot its a different story altogether)
Pirates has the raw strenght, but ninja has the fine polished techniques. I would say the pirates would start with an upper hand but as soon as least chance of victory appears the ninja would take it and defeat the pirates.

Well i'd say The ninjas would win because the Pirates would be completely pissed. But then pirates spend a lot of time at sea so unless the Ninjas can fly or at least swim really well the Pirates would have a home advantage offshore.
it's quite a tough one.
Well lets say the Ninjas snuck onboard without the Pirates knowing (because they can) and picked them off one by one without any of the others knowing or caring (remember they're blind drunk)
damn i hate pirates, my father was a pirate, now hes dead, twas many years ago but to cut a long story short, it was a ninja who thwarted his evil schemes, thus meaning that crime never pays........ i mean ninjas RULE!!!
Hey snerlin, you should have a completely different ending about something that doesnt relate to those 2 fighters(the pirate and ninja), because those are 2 VERY good characters to have a fight against each other, it'd have to be a really REALLY nice death and hard fight, but other than that, ninja .
Ninja's of course. They master the art of ninjutsu, know ninja magic and have all kinds of tricks. They are not as good with the sword as samurai, but they have a lot of tricks.
