I tried installing an application I made in mmf
with a frame size of 800x600
it worked fine on an xp machine but when installed on a widows200 machine not all of the screen was visible because the frame stretched beyond the borders of the monitor does that mean you can't make frame sizes larger than 640x480 on pre xp machines?

Run-ons make your text hard to read and make your point hard to come across. Puntuation is great.
You can go to the control panel and change the display properties to show higher resolutions on pre-XP machines.

hi, what ive done also is make a game as a stand alone, played it on an xp, and it is fine, but when played on a windows 98, or 95 the graphics become bad, and the gameplay and sound is slow and jerky!

That might just have to do with the Win95/98 computer being slower. Regarding resolutions, I can run 1600x1200 on my machine and I have ME... Haven't dared trying anything higher, but it lists resolutions up to 2048x1536.
The screen stretching beyond the borders, as you put it, can be fixed by just calibrating the monitor.
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
