By the way, did you know that the Xbox 360 hard drive is NOT 20GB?! It's 13!!! Microsoft deserve to die.
That'l probably work out at 20,000 mb or something along those lines. which is how they measure it, or 2 million kilobytes.
I'm not being accurate with my figures here just giving an example.
I got
some dvds, clothes ,chocolates and woolworths vouchers, you know the usual.
also got Taito legends for ps2 which is really noisy loading! it's a cd rom! wowz. I didn't think any ps2 games would be on cdrom anymore, even my other cdrom based ps2 games are quiet (unreal tournament and Quake 3 are quite quiet) and my psone games are really quiet on ps2.
and best of all TDC returns (well it's a boxing day present)
The real-life chainsaw massacre man, who was associated with the movie moved to my town. He was my dads patient before he died. Apparently my dad had to give him a lift home once and he had guns hung on the walls of his living room. He use to treat his wife really strange too. There was a documentry on him earlier this year!
ANYWAY. sorry, just saw circy's christmas list and it triggered me!
The Ipod Nano is kickass. FOr something that is only twice as wide as my thumb, it holds quite a bit of songs. around 500. THe sound quality is great. And I also got weebl and bob plushies.

Battlestar Galactica: Season One

I'm probably going to spend my christmas money on a bunch of new clothes. Express is running a sale on pants, and I really want this corduroy blazer they have. There's a bunch of Cd's I've been meaning to pick up too. Godspeed You Black Emperor, Mogwai, some more Bright Eyes, Nigthwish, Symphony X, etc.
hey Kirby, isn't that Micro a brilliant piece of gaming hardware? I got mine last month and was just bowled over by that screen. when I'm travelling or whatever I can fit my Micro in one pocket and my iPod mini in another
I finally got a decent graphics card. Never mind the fact that I can actually run games now - it has an S-Video out port, so I've been connecting the computer up to my TV and PS2 controller, and playing Crystal Towers console-style. It's quite hilariously fantastic.
I got half an electro-acoustic guitar (I paid for the other half), 2 boxes of chocolates, £15 and Schott's 2005 Almanac (which is a top read and one which I bought myself).
"hey Kirby, isn't that Micro a brilliant piece of gaming hardware?"
Yeah, the Micro is probably the best piece of hardware Nintendo has designed in ages. I originally had a PSP, but I ended up selling it because it was just too big to carry around, and you couldn't stick it in your pocket without worrying about scratching the screen up. The lack of quality software certainly didn't help it's case (I had Lumines, but otherwise just had it loaded with emulators). The GBA software library is excellent in comparison (FF4 and GSH being my personal killer apps). The best part though has to be how the faceplates work, with the screen protection built into them. I don't know why nobody had thought of that yet, but it's brilliant. Scratch up your "screen?" Just buy a new (read: also cheap) faceplate and you're back in business.
I was quite knackered (did I use that right?) when the banks were closed on the 26th. Delayed my payment for ectoprods new DNS company it did.
BTW ectoprods.com is still around, I just needed to switch DNS companies cause the old one was trying to rip me off after 2 years; should be up in a week at the most.

Charlie - "A right proper Charlie", a stuck up posh bloke who's an idiot.
Bangers - sausages.

My birthday has just been and gone. Got a set of Sennheiser headphones, however you spell it. one of those atomic radio clock things. necklace. chocolates. my dads Aiwa Reciever 7300, early 80's amp/radio combi... newer than my current amp but nowhere near as good. and the first 'berliner' newspaper ever printed in England, the first one in Australia (I think it was) was sold for a lot recently. funny how much people will pay for an old newspaper just because its issue 1.
unfortunately it has an article about Robbie Williams which probably degrades it somewhat.
