Re: Title.

I've been thinking aobut buying it. However, a while ago I got the GBA version, and they completely forgot to include what the original Amiga version had: Gameplay. The levels were ruined (really mazey) and finding the bombs was a nightmare.

If anyone has played the DS version, is it a similar game to the GBA game? Or if its not similar to the GBA version can you describe how it plays? I've been looking for reviews all over the internet but can't find any... please help me!

Hmmm. When I saw this in the Game shop, I thought it looked like a cheap-spoof title. Never looked twice at it.. but its worth giving every game a chance I suppose...

http://www.lofi-gaming.org.uk/diary/2006/01/james-pond-codename-robocod-ds.php : This is the only English non-commercial page mentioning it that I found on Google. Apparently it's from some pretentious Brit who thinks that the Internet at large cares about the progress he makes in the games he plays. Quite sad, really, as most of his entries have no comments.

If you mean James pond 2 Robocod, I didn't know it was avaiable for the DS. Ive got it on my megadrive anyway so it's not worth it for me.

Yeah, James Pond: Robocod.

I've seen the comments that guy makes before, Noyb, but the information I'm really after is whether or not its the same as the GBA game.

Buy it from Game, if you don't like it take it back. You have a 10 day window. That system used to be sooo abused with PC games... Then they stopped it. GBA/DS games are alright though. just use the age old "unwanted gift" excuse. magic!

This guy seems to be having the same complaint you had with the GBA game - which was that the levels were different to the originals. Don't know though - doesn't seem like a popular/well-known game for the DS. I've searched all the good game review sites and none of them think its worthy enough of a review. You could try what Jimmi said though.
