Hey again guys.
Anyway I'm posting here about The Clickzine - for those of you who don't know, this was an "online magazine" which featured on The Daily Click about 2-3 years ago. It pretty much featured previews, reviews and little editorials and such. There were only about 2 or 3 issues released (one a month) and then the Clickzine went down as the editor was too busy to run it - so he put me in charge of managing and editing it.. And only a year later have I decided to actually get this thing up and running..
Anyway I've spoken to Rikus and he is happy to get the Clickzine up and running as soon as possible. The Clickzine link will probably replace the "Chat" link on the menu when the first issue is released - and hopefully that will be around May. Now I can't do this on my own for obvious reasons - I'm going to need editors to help me write content for the Clickzine. May's issue of The Clickzine will feature games and news from April. So each issue will cover games and events from the previous month (and will also cover any future upcoming games).
So basically this thread is here if you are interested in becoming an editor. You won't have to write many articles - just 1 or 2 per issue. You must be experienced and must have been visiting TDC for at least a year - we need people who visit regularly and who monitor the community closely. Sorry to those of you who are new to the community - you can feel free to ready TCZ though
So post here if you're interested in writing for TCZ. I'd also appreciate any suggestions and comments on what you think should appear on TCZ. The problem with the old edition was that it was pretty much closed - there were 3 people writing reviews, and it was published. I'd like to get the community involved as much as possible in this edition, so that we can all work together to produce a great "zine".
Well I'd appreciate no swearing.. but words like "bloody" and "hell" or whatever are ok (some consider them swearing - but I don't see why ). Just nothing over the top.
Couldn't tell if your question was a joke/serious so I answered it anyway
Well I'm planning on getting a Clickzine forum for editors to chat in and everything - if that's okay with Clubby anyway. That way we can post our reviews and any requests, content, suggestions .etc
Site layout is done - just need a forum now then we can work on some reviews, previews, interviews and all that stuff. Then we can put it together and release it in May (maybe even April if we work really hard )

"Why is everybody so exited when nobody cares about Klik World?"
Because this is presented and organized much better than your topic about an eZine, perhaps? And also because Flava has the experience in making an eZine.
I, too, demand access. If you don't give it to me, I'll be forced to shoot up another post office.

I just have a little idea for the clickzine: every issue, a minigame is included which is playable via a special Vitalize! page in the clickzine. And maybe a link on the same page to download the standalone game.
I would be glad to make minigames every once in a while, if you like this idea. Maybe the game something to do with this issue's zine, too...
I'm interested mate; i was to create an online magazine for clicking last year
I could write an article or two for every issue. I can write game reviews. Dc-mail me.
I would be glad to write reviews. Please let me help.

i can take a part in the extansions part od the "zine" (me is an exts maker).
also, i can do links section for new/cool click related sites.
oh, and i also can make the style .
Hey let me know if you need help. I've been using click products since KnP and I work professionaly designing animation for a studio, maybe I could help on graphical side, as well as reviewing games graphicaly and such.. Anyway let me know.
Thanks for the offers guys - at the moment I'm happy for the following to help out:
Shab
Radix
Circy
Phizzy
Lazarus
AndyUK
Wartagon
Any TDC admins willing to help
Mainly because I know these guys quite well and they are regulars here - at the end of the day this isn't really a static team. If you want to write a review then you can write a review and send it to me via DC Mail - and if we like it, then we'll put it in the zine. Like I said, we want this to be as community based as possible - so you don't necessarily need to be in the "team" if you want a review or something published. If it so happens that you write a lot of top quality reviews for us each issue, then we'll probably let you in the team after that
Im on the Daily Click from 4pm - 9pm every single day (I know, its sad) so I guess u could call me a regular. This has been going on for over a year now, only a few months ago did I reveal myself in a forum post...

none of the guys adove are an ext maker, you still have a pleace for an ext section writer. (which should be an ext maker like ME, hint hint)
We currently don't have or need an extension maker - if any new extensions are released then I can easily write a section in the zine about it. Also like I said above, if you have anything you want published in the zine then DC mail me and I will look at it. So if you want to make extensions, send them to my mail

What about the "this issue's Vitalize! game" thing I suggested earlier? Yes? No?
Quite like that idea - if you can get a minigame done i'll take a look and see what the rest of the team think, then we can decide whether it's a good idea to publish it or not
It's going to basically be a website in the form of a "magazine" - I have the old issues on a CD somewhere. I might upload them but then they might eat away at the clickisland webspace/bandwidth.
