Prat. The term "EMO" is a highly recognised label, like chav, Gangster, Goth, Greebo, Queen Elizabeth, Louise, I doubt my 50 year old mother would use it if it was a school saying.
Yeah, I know it's a label, and it's stupid. You can't 'label' someone just because of how they look and act. That's retarded. Just like Goths, 'Gangstas', 'Greebos' and all of the other shit-labels.
Who the hell are you, Martha?
Fine Garbage since 2003.

Someone is Emo if they associate with the Emo scene. That's not even derogatory, or saying that all they are is emo. It's just saying that they associate with a scene. In Australia a much worse scene is forming around a total misuse of the word 'lad'. Basically, they wear polo shirts (often pink), got to the gym, beat up people (often emos)and have mullets.
Nah, Chavs are like council estate uncultured 'stenders type people? Lads are just big people with money and mullets and polo shirts. They almost always wear shorts, too. I don't know how far reaching the term is in Australia, I guess Radix hasn't heard of them because he's in uni, and they're very much a high school thing.
Hmmm actually, at secondary school/college there were these guys like that.. they acted like they were loaded, loved cricket, had annoying hair du's, and acted high n mighty. Their parents were the real source of money. We use to call them "Pretty boys"
Of course they are bloody stupid. That's why I can't stand them.

I've never heard the term lad used like that (I'm in highschool in Melbourne). You're in Sydney right? So it probably hasn't reached here. As for emos there are always shitloads of them in Fed Square.
No way. Lads is being used really commonly now. Totally incorrectly, of course. I can't understand why you haven't heard it, Radster, maybe because you live at uni?In Sydney, all the emos hang out at Castle Towers. By the by, Radster, do you know any way of catching public transport to 'Towers from... anywhere?

"Lads" sound like a higher-class chav variant who have been round for years. I know the sort of person you mean Damien. Tossers.
Yeah, we have those. But they're not called 'lads'.
They run around in pink, thinking it's 'hip', and they think they're really tough. It's a fad. I hope it passes, or else I'll have to start killing kittens and leaving them on people's doorstep like last time.

Yeah... there's a bus stop outside Castle Towers. It's just outside some game store or another. I've caught a bus from there to a LAN in Balkham Hills. I've only ever driven there and back though.
Presumably you could get a bus from the nearest station, whichever that is.
