Okay... first time posting here, and not exactly a veteran forum-user... let's see how the linking goes!

Check out de songs:

http://www.whisperswithin.com/musik/Track%201.mp3 - A song!
http://www.whisperswithin.com/musik/Track%202.mp3 - Another!!
http://www.whisperswithin.com/musik/Track%203.mp3 - One more, w00t?
http://www.whisperswithin.com/musik/Whispers%20Within%20-%20Dance%20of%20the%20Sunrise%20Fairies.mp3 - Okay, I won't bother you anymore

Uhm... I guess I kind of got to make them a bit more loopish if I intend to use them in any games, tho... and smaller... and shorter?

I can't believe more people haven't posted about these - all sound very professional and wouldn't be out of place in a Zelda game (in fact no. 3 sounds exactly right). The only criticism I have is that 1, 2 and 4 sound very similar to me; I'd like to see some more scope in your work, but I guess that's not really criticism, more a pointer for what to do next.

Like Grazzum said, what program did you use? They sounds bloody brilliant.

Keep it up!

Thank you ^^

I'm using Fruity Loops (less expensive, more user-friendly than many other programs) to make music, and these four songs use instruments from the "Edirol Orchestral"-plugin.

You're right, Noodle... they DO sound a bit similar (although I'd say it's 1,3 and 4 that is)! I have a slightly better range of work at the website, but unfortunately, it's in Swedish (is it just me or is there a lot of Swedes here?)

The music is intended to be RPG-ish, although I didn't make them for a particular game (haven't been klicking for a few years). After coming here, which I did when looking for Factor X (old favourite), I really want to make a game again... unfortunately, my computer is semi-dead, and I won't get a new one until July. Can't make games nor music until then. =(

After that, though, I've got some mad klik-training ahead of me, 'cause you people have created lots of bad-ass games while I was gone!

How much on average do you spend on your songs and do you use a keyboard as well? Any other good plugins you recommend? I've been in need of Brass for awhile now.

Dude, this plugin's bitchin, I still need to figure out how to use it fully but it's the bees knees. I love the fact you can use Orchestral Drum kits as well.

a quick thing i made with this plugin of yours,

How much? You mean time? It's hard to say... it doesn't feel that long, but being creative always takes longer than you think. I'd say it ranges from one to five hours... so let's pretend three hours is average. =]

Yeah, I use a keyborad (couldn't live without it). The only cool plugin I know of is the orchestral... but that's fine, since Edirol Orchestral is really great. Isn't 100 % compatible with FL, though, but you can make it work with some effort. =]

BTW, Sytrus is pretty cool if you like electronic music.

PS: Why the heck is "= )" converted into one "=" and one blink-smiley? Like this: =
