Hey guys here is a interesting question. What if clickteam made a runtime so that click games for mmf 2 could be running on the xbox 360, even if each game has to request a license for the possiblity for one game to run on this console, would open up the community like never before. What do you guys think about this and would this even be possible?

Edit: As a matter of fact , for the past several years i've been expecting a lot from clickteam .. like a 3D games developer like that of its 2d ones. But Clickteam seems busy making new versions of their old products.

Well, you could stick emulators and so forth on the Xbox, so I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to have a runtime on it. It would probably be a bit under the table, though.
Rikus is worrying about 'THE COMMUNITY IS DIEING' part. Ya .. if it works as you planned then i'am kinda sure few xbox forums will have a topic about klik communities.. But won't be a big boost or something!!

I think that with MMF2 being coded in C (I think) it's very possible. Besides which, Microsoft is trying to promote users to make compatible games and using the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Maybe it's a question you could ask Clickteam themselves?

Hmm I dunno, it sounds very unlikely. Isn't there going to be a runtime available for that handheld (I forgot the name)? That sounds like a better building block to me.
Well like folks where saying microsoft is trying to get indy dev. to make games for the xbox360. Also i tried the clickteam forums but they closed it after 9 replies.. even so its a very interesting discussion that they should think about for the future when the licenses get cheaper.

Edit: >Hayo: 'Hmm, Xbox kids aren't really the ones that want to play click games.'
>i'am one of them , but as long as they are a bit fun .. klik games are'nt that bad at all!.. But there can be few decent 2d games which can actually compete with few 3d ones! .. and that really don't need 'Big Klik Developers' .. anyone can go for it!

Where do you read Star Trek, HBK? OR do you really think your stupid games are or will be THAT well-known?
It would be better to get click games running on PSP or DS I think.
The homebrew communities for PSP and DS have been making all kinds of games in other languages, and I've always wanted them to make something which runs .exe files or MMF games. I think it'd be great if that could happen - although Sony and Nintendo are strict on this kind of stuff. I was thinking that even a vitalize plugin for the PSP's web browser would be cool too
Edit: Lets merge mine and rikus's idea.. Clickteam make a 3d games creator and shoot a runtime to bring them on XBOX 360. Klik Communities 3D games on XBOX 360! ..
