The reason Clickteam isn't likely to do PSP or DS is because those consoles have no, I repeat no homebrew support. You can run homebrew on PSP, but it's not endorsed by Sony. The reason they went with GP32 at first is because they have a wide homebrew support (USB cable to upload games and stuff) and you don't have to pay much for a devkit.
i think i heard that the xbox is so similar to a pc that it can be modded to run windows, so it would be able to run click games then...
about the new handheld, gp2x... it can emulate windows 95, albeit VERY slowly. But if anyone can manage to get it to run full speed and maybe even get 98 to run fullspeed , we can see click games on it that way.
FLAVA: It would be better to get click games running on PSP or DS I think.
The homebrew communities for PSP and DS have been making all kinds of games in other languages, and I've always wanted them to make something which runs .exe files or MMF games. I think it'd be great if that could happen - although Sony and Nintendo are strict on this kind of stuff. I was thinking that even a vitalize plugin for the PSP's web browser would be cool too
Reading this i have to agree with you. I own a psp and would love to play some klik games on it. In fact i'll log on to one of my psp sites and email a guy called fanjita (PSP Hacking God) and see if it is a project that he fancies taking on.
Portable doesn't mean needing to be carried around you know, i may want to take it to another room and plug it in.
Ive bought it so i can play emulated games on my normal tv without having to take my pc tower downstairs (and i have done that before once or twice)
If vitalized then you could use the "file:/" command on the PSP to load offline content. Which would work for everyone without Wifi, much like myself. I heard they were looking into Flash for MMF2 as an export option, and PSP 2.60 or 2.70 supports flash.
thinking is like pong, it's easy, but you miss sometimes.
