There's the klikopenGL object for TGF, but it's really limited and crap. And then there's Jamagic, I've never really tried it, but I think it involved scripting anyway, so it really won't be as easy as MMF or TGF. Or you can sit on your hands and wait for MMF2, with the irrlicht object.
I think the trouble is that 3D game creation can never be as easy as 2D almost by definition - there are whole new layers of things that need to be taken care of in a 3D environment.
The Irrlicht object isn't coming with MMF2. Development on it has stopped as far as I know, but maybe it'll be picked up again in the distant future.
Besides, even if the Irrlicht object is released there's no way you'd be able to make completely 3D games in the style of the FPS. It'll just help support 3D features.
jamagic is a close as you're going to get i think. But i couldn't figure out how to do anything. ANYTHING!
i should maybe have read a tutorial or something. But i don't really care about 3d.
If you are after making an FPS (first person shooter) game there is a program you can get called FPS Creator. this looks like it is fairly easy to use and will do all the complicated work for you. you just import or draw your maps and create your characters, weapons pickups etc. and away you go. click here for more info:
I think full 3D would be a bit much. It just gets to be too complicated, especially for a product which is supposed to be as accessible as mmf and tgf. Mode 7 effects, however, I'd like to see implemented better.
