i'm trying to assign a group of objects' variable Y to the fixed object value of the object it is overlapping with.
I thought that this might work :
If group "BAD" is overlapping group "enemy"
then set alterable variable Y of group BAD
to fixed value of group ENEMY
but doesnt seem to work..
can anyone help? , I have some sample code if needed
also, can groups be renamed???

It looks all right to me at first glance, but working with qualifiers is sometimes a bit shaky (particularly if you're using TGF).

sadly the variable for each one isnt being set to the overlapping object's fixed value, maybe it's setting the group's variable with only one of the fixed values..
if there's another fast way of doing this without referencing the 2 groups via the qualifier, i'd love to know!!
oh i'm using MMF btw...
