Where do you people find your sound effects for games. I just can't find any free guality sound effects. Can you help me? I'm looking for good free sxf packs with loads of samples. And i don't mean ripped sounds from cs or other products

uh anyway, all the websites for sound effects ive found are pretty damn awful. I usually resort to ripping them from obscure games. (via emulation)
Ive tried to use my mic before but don't really know what i would use to make the noises? my voice? hitting two sticks together? I dunno.

use your microphone and mess about using ms sound recorder to start with - then download a freebie wave editor and go further...... to infinity and beyond!!

www.findsounds.com is very good for a certain range of samples. It doesn't find a whole lot of variety though, I typed 'hit' and almost only got bottle, can and bomb hit sounds.
Btw, what is CS?
