I have no Idea if this is a realistic idea or not. But I figured I'd throw it out here.
A lot of people want to upload their games and stuff but don't have a place to do it. A lot of people find a place but it's just temporary, resulting in a ton of older games on the page with links that don't work. Upload space for one game, depending on size, wouldn't cost much for anyone, you could probably get space for a 10mb game for less than 50 cents a month. The problem is that you can't really find that little space. You have to pay around 5-10 a month minimum, and get more space than you need. DC could probably profit off this (or at least keep the site going without donations). Could you get more space and sell it out to people for small fees? I know I'd be willing to pay 50-1.00 a month for some space to upload stuff.
Anyway, I don't have any resources in front of me right now so maybe my pricing estimates are way off, or it might not be a good idea for any number of other reasons. I just thought I'd say it though, since I figured if I was interested in some space to upload games, other people might be too.
. . . You could call it a platinum membership or something and have other fancy little things to go with it, and a shiny "Platinum DC Member" icon under peoples' avatars. . .
if it's not huge, you could use a filehost service thats generally free, like rapidshare or fileget. That's what I'm doing when I send the music for my game back to the other guy working on the songs with me.
A "Exclusive Dc membership" is being discussed with clubsoft that would include space to upload your games, and features like exclusive forums. More news as we get it.

NeoHunter, that's not a good idea. The files get deleted after a month or so, sometimes even a week.
Freewebs has practically no bandwidth. If enough people download your games, you website shrivels up and dies. Also, you can't upload anything bigger than 1mb to freewebs.
All the above changes, however, if you pay money to Freewebs.
