My topic says it all! I don't want to use well-known character sprites, because I want to end up selling it for like 5 dollars. Does anyone know of a good site to find custom sprites on? If so, please post name of site, or (even better) a link to it. Thanks!

If you want to sell your stuff, you'll pretty much need to make your own sprites.
If you can't draw, you might try offering to split your profits with someone who can.
If you can't convince anyone to make sprites while you code your game, then finish your game with crappy temporary sprites that you've drawn yourself. Then show it around to people to convince them it's a good game and will sell if only it has decent graphics.
This is probably the best way to go because I don't know of many people who would invest a lot of time making nice graphics for someone else's game unless they know the game's good. I know I'd be bummed if I spent a bunch of time making graphics, only to find out that the game ends up sucking and nobody wants to play it, let alone buy it.
