The only way I'd buy a 360 would be built in or bundled WiFi adapter, web browser, streaming over LAN without silly PC apps running, the Premium model to be £200 and Xbox Live to be free. Maybe some decent games too. All is void if Halo 3 is just as crap as Halo 2.
Wii! That's the console I'm going to buy. It looks great! The ultimate party system without a doubt. PS3 looks very pretty cool. But it's price is way out of my (and most average peoples) price range. Plus the spiderman font (in the logo) pisses me off for some reason. Complete lack of originality I guess (Have a look at the logo then look at the spiderman movies text if you don't know what I'm talking about). Some very cool looking games comming for PS3 tho. As far as xbox goes, I'm pretty happy with my xbox 1 for now. The xbox 360 doesn't seem like a far enough leap forward. A couple of my friends have them and I haven't beem overly impressed with what I've seen. For me Wii is the key! Thats another plus for the nintendo Wii. It rhymes in so many great ways. How can one not look forward to playing with ones wii!
