How do you work with something on a game?, someone makes a part of the game and the other does another part and then you join them together?, do you take turns making the whole game?.
Do you understand what the other did?.
In conclusion: How do you manage to work together?.
I think the key is lots of contact, and you may need to have someone to pull it all together, not so much a leader but someone who can organise it all.
Like Radix is for the daily click game that got put on hold.
I work together mainly by having huge pointless discussions.
The best way is to split it up in tasks, because sharing code
or graphics is a bad idea. So you have a boss guy, coding guy,
graphics guy, sound guy, music guy, testing guys, cheerleader girl and so on.
Like Andy said, communication is very important, it's best to document the project
so everybody can look at that instead of having to ask obvious questions all the time.
The male has part A the female has part B. A and B go together like a jigsaw and Part C is born Part C may have part A or B but thats random and left to nature
When I work together wiht my friend, I do all the gfx and she does all the coding, but we keep in contact all the time but I suppose its easier when you can see and talk each other for real.
Id like to do a team project with someone if anyone wants?
I could write a whole article on this. And probably will. Some day.

"The best teamwork? Well think of it as democracy and dictatorship. We all know what's most effective."
In the case of a two-man team, democracy.
Internet access here sucks. 2M funding my arse.. they use all the money replacing tiles and doorknobs instead of giving students internet access. Seriously. I don't know how the hell the university administrators ever got there.
