Ok, here it is. Inspired by the 26 minute compo, I came up with an idea based off it. Basically, one person works on it for 26 minutes, then it's passed off to the next person, and then once more until 3 people have spent 26 minutes on it.
No set teams. Basically, it'll be random who gets what game. You will be allowed to leave notes for the next person however.
This sound like a bit of entertainment to everyone? I'll run the thing if you guys want to give it a shot.

Not as hard as you think. All that will be required is MSN. It can take place over a couple of days.

It would be easier without MSN. Say 12 people sign up, we "randomly" pick who starts, um.. the middle guy, and finishes, and assign them in 4 teams of 3. Or just post the current version of you game, and the first person to claim it works on it next, then reposts it saying it needs one more person to work on it.

No, cause getting all those ppl together and timing them all at the same time would a complete mess. It'd be more like this. The ones who start the chain would all do it at the same time. From there, as I see you on MSN, I'll pass along one for you to work on for 26 minutes.
It's that simple. I'll message you, pass along the project file, you work for 26 minutes, send it back, and then you're done.

Maybe we shud split it, so people who are good at coding are with someone better at gfx. Because I dont want to be left with an engine that needs gfx - as im a coder.

I'd enter. But shouldn't we make some sort of list of who's entering, and what dev tool they're using, and maybe what they specialize in, like coding/graphics/music?

I have an idea... maybe for another compo instead of changing this one. BUT, what if we did one where you get 30 minuites to work on it, and then it passes off to the next person who posts.... and it continues until 10 or 15 people have worked on it. There would be rules, like no deleting previous additions to the game...... but I think it would be interesting to see what we end up with.
