I'm re-doing the main sprite for Elf World. Which is 'better'?
(Note: the jpg format makes the picture all fuzzy-like. )

1. Save as PNG. Even MS Pain can do that.
2. Restart again, but make a big sketch first maybe. To gain a little insight. They both don't look too good in my opinion...
However, the second one IS an improvement, to answer your question.
They aren't total master pieces, but I prefer the one on the left. The one on the right has to small of a body, and looks like a Rayman ripoff (to me at least).
I quite like the Rayman rip-off actually, though yeah his body is a teeny bit too small..
It's about time someone crossed the "uhoh its a Rayman look-a-like" barrier thing, Rayman's nothing special any more anyway. Make his face lighter too so you can see his features properly? Or make the eyes and mouth lighter.
As you can see, the new hat gives a more modern image to terms like elves and laprichorns. He looks alot more sexy and adventerous. If I were you, I'd make a new hat for the old sprite, or go with this one.
Edit: It seems like some sort of bug that won't allow me to show this image properly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I had the same problem trying to post newbittorrentlogo.png. It's one of TDC's great 'features'. Just change the filename so it doesn't have the string "new" in it.
That's only in some versions of Windows XP and 2000. My other computer, with XP home, can't, but my main one, with W2k, can do GIF, JPG, and no PNG. I've only seen PNG on my dad's computer.

I know, but I assumed he uses Windows XP. And I thought that 2k could do it too, but I guess not.
