No doubt this guy's inbox is full of other complaints. Nobody can actually BUY the 1000 games pack though at the moment can they? So it's probably being looked into no doubt, already. Thusly he's not making money off of the games... at least for the time being perhaps.

This guy needs a serious slap - I know I'd join the queue. Not to mention a fine of some sort.
I think emailing him is a bit of a weak approach really because he can just choose to ignore them or come up with an excuse to any officials saying 'he didn't notice the emails' or whatever and accumulate some sort of defense. So I say you tell whoever deals with this sort of scamming thing and contact them directly and let them handle the matter. This way he has no excuse and is shut down etc in no time too.

Peter don't judge the rest of us by your low standards, many people have made success stories of their game creations. Indeed some games released as "free" on this site have been far better quality than many $25+ shareware or commercial games.
You generalise that nobody here could ever make money from their talents and they should be content that someone has stolen their hard work is laughable and highly retarded.

Generally, people who create klik games are generally those with something to share or prove to themselves. It's a hobby, a little something to pass the time etc That's what the point is. If you don't see the point - why do you visit this site? :S

It's fraudulent and a form of plagiarism to sell FREEWARE games and for you to earn the profit off of somebody else's work. That's why it's wrong PeterD. No one's saying you can't have an opinion, but the case of the matter is here that the people that make the games have the right over them, full stop.

internation copyright laws hold that its quite illegal to sell anyone elses intellectual property for money (ie, their games). However, you're much more likely to get a ticket for doing half a mile over a speed limit. Its the least enforced law in existance.
I looked through the list of games he is "selling" and since there was a lot of big commercial titles there (quite a few Nintendo games etc) he'll most likely get stomped on in due time. Patience is a virtue

Tomas Krajca mailed me 2 times about publishing my game, both times I gave him permission and asked for a copy of the mag for my collection, and both times he didn't reply.
Well no, it varies. Some of us are happy for our games to be reproduced indiscriminately, others like some control. I prefer to be emailed first so I can decide on a case-by-case basis.
Personally I'm not okay with compilations, because essentially with these bastards it's not just that they're my games: they're stealing other peoples' work without permission, so I don't want to support them. In the case of magazines it's different because it's a product that would sell whether or not it had freeware on it, and freeware is usually only a small part of the CD content. I like the emails because I like to know when they're published even though I don't ask for copies. Also there's a german mag I'm going to tell to fuck off next time since they've been pricks about it in the past.
Thing is we're the ones who put effort into our shit, and even though we let people play them for free we should still be entitled to some say in how they're used.

same deal with me.
anyway - i did catch up with some clown years ago who was doing just this thing. after contact was made with him, i was paid just over 500 BP for his troubles, and he promised to remove my game from any further CD's.
if you go about it correctly; its possible to reach an outcome.

A few years ago I bought a disk from GAME called "Arcade Games for Windows" and it was chock full of click games. Think it cost me like a tenner or something... Anyone else heard of it? I THINK its still avaliable to buy... Also there is a "More Arcade Games for Windows" Similar kinda stuff on it, too.
