I remember back in the day it was Britney Spears and Christina Uglysomething and of course I hate both. But who do kids look up to today? Are there even people kids look up to today? I can’t think of anybody.
I'd rather not think of it. Back in my day, people used to look up to Eminem, Linkin Park, Fred Durst. Kids can be idiots sometimes .

young girls seem to be looking up to people like Paris Hilton and the likes. I think that's frightening. If young people look up to people who's best ability is to ..spend money, what does that say about them and their future?
i'm a profile photo administrator (means i approve the pics people upload for their profiles) for the 2nd largest community site in Denmark and i see people in alarmingly low ages impersonating Paris Hilton and such...it's scary who will fund the tax money for when i grow old? big spenders ? *eek*
I think most of them grow out of it, but seeing some of my juniors in university, they're taking a lot longer than we did. I hate the ones that go all "I'm a lot more mature than most of my friends who like cartoons and want good looking boyfriends. I really don't care about money and looks." Maturity is hardly about pretending to be old.
