Okay so UK is having really evil weather in places. Last year it was really real hot and this year all my area has seen is thunder, rain and bad winds. Today one of my garden's few remaining trees was uprooted and now all the chavs behind the wall CAN SEE ME.

A man has also just died in my area, stuck down a drain for several hours
I really hope we still get a summer later on.

It's actually not to bad here. Weather rarely gets dangerous around these parts 'cuz it's all hilly and the rains just crap out the sewers and it all floods down into Oldham and Manchester. Pahahaha.
No thunder yet. Not even bad winds. Just lots of rain.

Turns out me and my mum knew the guy, he used to sell me fish for my aquariums, and many a time I chatted with him about fish. Pretty gutted

Christ, I missed that drain guy bit the first time round. Sorry to hear that mate.
Whole thing seems to be shifting along now. Suns trying to poke through but the winds are picking up.

Hahaha, I know. My sister's in England, don't ask me what area, visiting her boyfriend there. She told me they've had awful weather there all week. The sun is still shining back here in Helsinki

Joe's Venn diagram made me laugh. It's not too bad up here actually. Cold and wet, but what's new there.

Basically it means there's no good english weather - as the two do not overlap, they are kept seperate etc.

they are mutually exclusive.
The 2 things cannot occur at the same time.

Last year the Mediteranean front hit and UK was rather hot, mostly. I cant believe how crappy it is this year, I hope we still get some warm weather.

Ruddy nora yes. It was a total disaster up here last year. The whole moors were shut off, even the roads. The reservoirs were drying up too. That said we're not exactly out of summer just yet.
