Spectrum ZX81 (IIRC) stuck up in the attic. It gets brought down every few months and I still try and beat some games that have dogged me since I was 4. Then theres the Amiga 600/NES/Classic GB et al.

I've got a Commodore 64 in the attic. One of the brown ones, before they turned all modern and white.

Oldest computer/game console?

Why, that's be the ol' TI-99/4A, sporting such classics as Hunt The Wumpus, Jungle Hunt, and, of course Tunnels of Doom, whose sizable data exceeded the simple confines of the solid-state software game module (the cartridge) to a more expansive media: the audio cassette tape!

Now, true glory is playing Tunnels of Doom on an LCD projector for true marriage of past and present technologies. That, and pixels the size of your fist.

The oldest is a Sinclair ZX81 which I was looking at the other day in the loft as we were getting our suit cases down (which is why the name came to me so quickly) And I'm sure we still have a Commodore 64 as well but don't ask me where it is, I just remember it from my childhood days. We also had something which I never found out what was, it may have been the Sinclair but I can't remember whether or not it was. It was a loose cartridge based system which I only remember a tooth decay game. That's all I know though.

We did have an Atari 2600 but it was *thrown* away because it was broken. It was as useful as a block of wood. But I do own practically own all the successful consoles from the 3rd-Gen upwards from the NES, SNES, Sega Master System II, Mega-Drive, Sega Mega CD (found it at a car boot sale, selling for a £5 with 5 games) Nintendo 64, Saturn, Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS2, PS3 and Wii. Don't own any of the Xbox's yet but will be getting a 360 just to play Overlord!

Oh and if we're looking at handhelds, I own a Gameboy, Game Gear, Gameboy Pocket, Colour and a DS.

I have a BBC Grandstand or whatever it's called - no external games, just a switch to change from versions of pong.

I think I beat you all.

In totals I own the lot. cept Commodore 64, Master System, Snes, Saturn, Sega CD, Neo Geo, PS2 and PSP. It's a bit of a moot wish but it would have been great if the TG16 was launched in Europe. The games feel like more graphically polished and worse sounding Amiga stuff.

The oldest I have would be my version 2 Atari 2600. After that comes my Amiga 500.

I don't have any consoles now, but my oldest one was the Atari. The latest console was the PSP. Overall, I've owned a GBA, a GameCube, and a DS.

For computers, I've had too many old ones my uncle kept giving away for free.

Geez Talk about old Kak, lol

Id forgotten about the old Ams.464, at the time they came out, we got a 6128, it was Fantastic, all the games were on disk(if you caould actually find a shop that stocked the) AND... it was compatable with an external tape drive so you could get all the ones on tape when they didnt have a flopy, ofcourse about 1 in 5 worked from the external on the 128..

ah the memorys, so may hours wasted on Hunch Back, and Harrier attack..

Haha i actually have two disk games for our trusty CPC 464. Puzznic and Chips challenge.

We actually bought an external disk drive for it which was awesome.

We used to save loads of games to disk using the multiface 2 cheat device (like an action replay type thing) which didn't so much save the games data to disk as take a snapshot just like an emulator would nowadays.

Then one day the multiface 2 broke and we couldn't load any of them up anymore!!

It's a shame the drive belt broke recently, i tried to replace it with an elastic band but that doesn't work very well.
