During the normal walking bits, usually you could guess, like walking up stairs, or through a long corridor, you could see the loading coming a mile off if you'd walked up a few flights of stairs. The vehicle bits did kinda catch you off guard though. Driving at high speed, thinking how cool it was to be going so fast, then you freeze.
Still, I'll still protest it's my favourite game so far. That's testament to how good it is I suppose.
I ordered the 360 version from PLAY.com but the cretins sent me the PC version which I did not want! So I've had to go through the process of sending it back and they sent off the 360 version instead. It's a shame actually because I realised I could also have gotten a refund. Now I've got nothing to keep me occupied over the Bank Holiday
Oh well... I guess I can continue to prepare for the convention.
Ken Levine, lead designer of Bioshock, recently stated that there is no PS3 version of the game in development or planned. It's a PC and 360 exclusive.
I've been playing it for the past few hours, it's quite possibly the best FPS in my opinion, easily exceeding the likes of Half-Life 2.
I decided I couldn't wait for getting a 360 and bought the PC collectos Edition.
Wow! What a game! In all seriousness here, I started a new game and watched the cut scene and didn't even realise I was meant to be playing yet! Niiice graphics!

I'm getting a Mac soon, (the new one) and I was wondering how well it runs and what speculations you are running at? I completely forgot about the idea of using Bootcamp to play my PC games so this is good to hear, especially if it runs a game like Bioshock well.
Oops! Yeah, I did mean specifications, sorry! I just thought you didn't understand when I said running at specifications/speculations. Oh well, I'm tired and I need some sleep.
