Blow up Earth.
It's the only way to be sure that religion is gone from this planet forever.
(Although there are no doubt other life forms elsewhere that have similar problems, somewhere in the universe)
Plus then you've got the problem of parallel universes/realities, and the fact that there may be other completely different universes out there.
Basically it will never stop, unless all life, everywhere, ceases to exist.

I don't understand why some people need a book to learn about human kindness and rules.
It's okay to be religious and all that, but you have to set yourself some rules. You can't stone people to death just because that was the way of the law 2000 years ago. You can't be so offended by someone drawing Muhammed that it leads to riots, flag burning and threatening to kill someone.
This is not just Muslims. Christians are being controlled and politically brainwashed just right in the US. Take a look at this disturbing doc: http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/118948/Scenes_From_Jesus_Camp.html?rh=168130
We probably are better off without religion. Society advances, we learn new things, and we get rid of the rules that we see don't work... In the end, if humans live that long, I totally believe that humans will stop killing each other.

It's human nature to be religious, that is true. But we have seen that we can overcome human nature and maybe one day miles in the future we can be truly secular (everywhere I mean).

Humans will never stop killing each other.
It's a basic instinct, a struggle for dominance.
We are just like any other animal on the planet, we fight each other for power and status.
It's how it always has been, and how it always will be.

But we can put aside our struggle for dominance, how else do you explain social welfare and charity?
That's what makes us human, the ability to do things which seem impractical and un-useful (useless would be a better word).
But I agree that an end to murder won't happen, it's just how it is.

This is very true. We'd kill each other even if there were no religions.
I think religion is a good thing, but stupid people use it as a reason to kill. I think if Jesus came back today, he'd be like 'WTF?!'

The most stupid thing in humanity is that we consider ourselves better and more intelligent than animals, yet we solve our problems between us the same way they do, by hurting ourselves, instead of using our so called "brains" to find a solution.

That's not true, humanity has devised ways to kill off more people faster than any animal.

Well when you die unnaturally it is usually painful, like getting shot or blown up. Also families have to cope with the loss of their loved ones.
Dying of natural causes is sad too. But of course people just accept it because we have to.
Generally it is better not to die.

Agreed, death is not good.
However. If people didn't die eventually... Everyone would have to really cram up/lose a lot of weight to fit all the new baby people in etc etc...
Tell 'em Babs is 'ere...
