I declare this the official thread about scones, you know that food-bread-shaped-thing that English people eat all the time while sipping on their tea?
Oh yeah, do you like them? Do you even eat them?
Discuss!

Greats 'Tuff! I enjoy the taste of scones in my mouth very much so! They also smell incredible while baking them - I can bake delicious ones!
I have a question! How do YOU pronounce "Scone"??
Scon? Or Scohne/Scone? Edited by the Author.

Boring story! Back in secondary school (up in't Saddleworth) we snook out of school grounds and went to this local cafe. There were some teachers in there who didn't know me, but knew my friends. So they were rushing me to finish my scones (said posh; Saddleworth). Oh the lark!
Love em!

Like, "Cone" with an S at the start.
Same here.
I always liked the SMELL of scones, but upon eating one I was nearly killed by the sheer concrete-ness of its consistency. Mayhap a descendant of Phizzy's rock cakes?

I got an A for my cheese scones at school. Although to be honest i don't see how you can really go wrong. We were following a recipe after all.
I pronounce it 'SKON'
