The new Cloverfield movie looks interesting, the one directed by j.j.abrams, the guy who directed Lost. There's been some "leaked" concept art of the monster floating around, and by the looks of it, I hope it's not what it's really going to look like (a cross between a blue whale and a crab).
Wouldn't it be really awesome if Cloverfield was actually just the code name for a live action Neon Genesis movie? The next trailer would show Adam blowing everything up, and it'd be awesome.
I hope it's not a Neon Genesis movie, but I'm really looking forward to this. I don't normally like Hollywood tripe but the way this has been presented so far has been a huge change. I hope it stays as a Blair Witch type/first person account film like the trailer. I'm hoping it's loosely tied in with Lost. So much that you don't need to watch Lost to get it. Could be good!
Circle jerking? Why wasn't I ever invited to that?
True, the direct himself said that the Christian symbolism was just because it was relatively unheard of in Japan and mysterious, but Neon Genesis just has an engaging plot and nice graphic style. If you have a three second attention span though, and need lots of pretty lights and sparkles, don't try to watch it.
