For those who couldn't complete the game (EverEternal WinterWorld) due to lag - try turning off the snow in the menu bar. If you still experience lag etc, it's due to CT not releasing the working HWA we've all been waiting for... and maybe your pc is a bit poo too...
I experienced lag in random places both with and without snow, but not so much to stop me finishing it. Doubt it's my comp either, it's a dual core an' everyfink.
It sure did slow down alot. I beat what I think was supposed to be the final boss, but there was a giant laser on the ground inbetween me and the exit to the right, so I simply gave up at that point. I'll assume it was the ending :/
@Slowdown: I've had the same thing with spot of slowdown... It's not the object count or anything that stay constant (about 230 without now around 400 with) I tried a lot to reduce it, plus disabling enemies etc. But it never goes below 45 fps for me anyway :\ I'd release the HWA beta version but while it runs perfectly for me Tim, Jake and Alspal all can't get it to run (If I remember correctly)
It's not really CT's fault and the reason it slows down the most in the first two is because they're just very large (like 6000x3000 etc) so yeah all I can really advise is turning off snow and running it 1x which actually made difference on my dad's pc.
@Pixelthief: I should make him invincible over there I guess :\ and when he dies I'll destroy the laser (but I thought I did...) You probably could have flown over using the glacier cannon, I've never had to try out that scenario.
@AndyUK: No-one ever reads the readme files
So there are my excuses and things
Oh and if you feel like increasing replay value, cheaply, try fooling around with the script.
For me, layers can slow down a game a lot, it makes backdrops slow the game down as much as actives.
The first area was quite unplayable even with snow off, because the timer in the timed switches ran in normal speed but the player didn't because of the lag

I meant for it crashing. There is nothing in the readme about that.
Activate Windows 95 Compatibility mode on the .exe file. You should always do this with ALL click games, TGF, MMF, and MMF2. Otherwise they crash like nuts.
I'm stuck on the fight with Ditothie (did I spell that right?). When he's done talking and the boss music starts he doesn't do anything... and he's invincible. I mauled him with the Glacier Cannon for like ten minutes and nothing happened.

I always try that when things don't work. However it still crashes.
I found an error in this game. As soon as you beat Shorty (the first guy) and go outside the house; you can jump to the left of the screen and pass through the wood there then fall off the frame. It's like it's meant to be set to backdrop but it's not =P.
