I work at my university's English department office for a work-study scholarship. Mainly stuff like making copies, sorting mail, running paperwork to other offices, and speed-running Cave Story in the back room. Most of the time there isn't much going on to do.

I work for the United States Postal Service, doing data conversion. Basically, 95% of the mail is automatically processed using OCR machines, but about 5% can't be deciphered. That mail is then photographed and the images are sent over the network to the remote encoding center where I work. They come up on our screen, along with a prompt asking for whatever information it's missing, and we key it in. Repeat 500 times per hour and that's my job. It's bloody boring, but I get to listen to my iPod at work and at they pay obnoxiously well for the easy work we do (I make about 50% more doing this than I made as an assistant manager at a movie theatre). Sure as hell don't want to make a career out of this, but it'll get me through college.

I do fuck all. Apparently I'm supposed to be studying but somehow that seems a pathetic answer because that takes up approximate 5% of my time.
I've tried to find a job, honest, but they all knock me back and don't reply to my CVs that I send out. So fuck em.

That's exactly what it was in summer. I applied for every job that I could for in July-September, joined about 6 0r 7 job agencies and didn't get a single job offer - never mind a job! I'm starting to think they dismiss my applications out of hand, but I don't know why.

That was only a one-time thing - it's not every day that an abandoned mill needs cleaning of harmful substances and they let three teenagers do it! I'm pretty sure that won't be happening again.

Accounts Assistant / Book-Keeper.
Which is ironic, because I'm number dyslexic
It's the most boring job that exists, but it pays well enough that I can work part-time... leaving more free hours in the day to pester people about the meaning of life, lol.

You mean you have dyscalculia?
I've always been intrigued as to how people with that see number problems in their head.
To me (provided I know the terms/symbols) it's usually straightforward, with some thinking for the harder stuff.
