I've recently got my hands on MMF2 and while I can run the program and use it just fine, when I try to create a stand-alone application I get this error.
stdrt.exe - Ordinal Not Found
The ordinal 829 could not be located in the dynamic link library MMFS2.dll.
Is there something I can do to fix this?
I'm running Windows Vista, is there problems with running MMF2 in it? (If so, how can I fix that as well?)
I havn't used mmf2 in vista, but there is option in properties and there settings and there is windows vista thing. You mayby should use that, not sure it works thought.
I have proven new mathematic formula to be true...
MMF2 works fine on Vista. The Windows Vista section in application properties is for enabling "run as administrator" mode (in case you need your application to be able to access any protected files or directories, such as Program Files).
Lihgylon: Try reinstalling, it usually fixes most problems.

Good to know that, if ya get vista in 2050.

You know, it's painstakingly obvious that the only reason why you even posted was to shit on Vista, so why bother? I think the whole Vista sucks phase sort of passed around 6 months ago.
Admin Note User was legitimately requiring help - no need to be so aggressive.
Vista works fine. So does MMF2 in Vista. Just reinstall MMF2, or if you're still having trouble, find MMFS2.dll in your MMF2 directory and copy it yourself to C:\windows\system32

Firstly I tried to help, and also I was curious what the vista thing does in the settings menu. Also, it is good to know because I get vista in year or two, when there is coming patches. Why I mock vista then? Because ATM it sucks a lot, and I'm pretty pissed, because people are scammed, cause they buy sucky comps where vista don't even work proberly. Also I have one sentence "Only for windows vista", which is marketing windows vista to players, who want to play the game.
If you have realy readed my first post, you would see, that my deepest idea was to help the guy who needed help and learn. You just came mocking me, because I mocked vista, so why did you bother?
This goes so lot offtopic as most posts in here, so i'm not going to continue this.

What the hell? I love Vista. I don't see how even minutely my post would indicate that I'm trying to shit on Vista or even warrant your reaction. If I hated Vista so much, why would I be running it, and why would I be trying to make a program work in it? Grow up.
I've gone into the MMF2.exe application settings and put on compatibility for XP SP2 and turned on run as administrator, but this doesn't seem to have fixed the problems. Is that what you meant?
Compatabillity mode shouldn't be needed, I use Vista with MMF2 and have no problems. Try reinstalling, and maybe disable any 3rd party antivirus/spyware/firewall to see if thats the problem. Does your game use extensions? try building an app without any to see if one of them is the problem.

I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to Mauri Mahtava. Vista sucks if you have a piece of shit computer. Is this how it should be? No, is it the truth? Yes. So what happens if your computers capable of handling it? The damn thing runs better then Windows XP ever did for me, and I tried many versions of XP including Home, Pro, and 64bit Pro. Many Different hardware configurations, and many different PC's. My conclusion? Yes, Vista is not nearly as good as it should have been, but to say it "Sucks a lot" is a pretty piss poor excuse for an argument if you ask me.
Unless you truly take the time to get used to a graphically accelerated GUI, you'll never understand why Vista is more in favor in my opinion. Has nothing to do with how it looks, because for all I could care, I would use Classic mode. Just so long as it was accelerated by the graphics card, which is how an graphic user interface should have been, since the time video cards became strong enough to handle it. Long before XP was even released.
Yeah, but Mauri was only throwing in a short, personal opinion on Vista. Brandon's comment was unnecessarily aggressive.
Edit: Oh. Yeah, I see what you mean now. It looks like the mod assumed that Brandon was attacking the OP. Pah.
(Vista is alright though. It's not bad at all, if you're running it on a decent computer. My only real annoyances are the constant compatibility issues, and the ridiculous security features.)
