I do HTML, I'm a proficient MMF coder, I can do a little C and C++, and I'm pretty darn good at high-school level math and physics. Oh, and I have a few grand games in progress that you guys will start to see once all the dust has cleared

I don't really understand how the title fits with what you said above :\ Are you saying you want to either join or start a dedicated group of people that aren't going to stop kliking any time soon? Or that you wanna work solo?
Whatever the case, you're always welcome to join SN Muz Mike is looking for a programmer and stuff at the moment in the other thread.. But yeah, thought I'd respond
Lol, there, I edited out the confusing ramble. I almost did contact Mike on it, but he doesn't sound like the type who makes the same type of games as I do. He's more into Mario, Zelda, the fun, quirky types of games, while I'm more into Medieval: Total War, Evil Genius, the simulation type of games.
I think most of the people in the klik community who make my type of games left the community. Or never entered . Hmm... maybe I should start a group that makes games of that genre if there isn't one around already...

I would be interested in starting a group, especially since your a coder, and Im looking for one see my thread a bit lower on the page if your interested.
But I dunno, I'd like to join, but there's something in me that's resisting. I guess there's just something in me where I feel the need to join the underdogs. Maybe after I get tired of trying to build a website

I have the best idea for a group! We can have a really silly little name, a really flashy website, and then we won't actually release any games at all!!!

That's nice. Perhaps you should actually be doing something about the fake accounts, instead of worrying about Tim's minor problems.
Oh yeah, because you run the community dont you adam noone would dare ban you from tdc! oo the peril! Excuse me, but what rights do you have to talk to and about me like that? NONE, THAT'S WHAT. and not just to me, but to the admins too.. you show an extreme amount of disrespect and immaturity. sorry, but this reponse was provoked.
Admin Note Please end this here - any more of this and action will be taken.
Well the second comment I was warned for was actually meant as light hearted, hence the emote at the end, and the fact I actually said I run this community is quite clearly a joke, but nevermind, I guess. I don't mind the warning system, or even being warned, I tried being peaceful here but lets face it, that was an act, take me as you find me. It's the sneaky way admin can now warn without saying who's done it that annoys me. Id understand if it was a site like youtube with millions of users and a huge admin team, but on a community site like this I want to see who is warning me. It's like throwing a brick at someone and running away.
Knowing which admin warned you doesn't benefit anyone at all. Lets face it, the only reason you want to know who did it is so that you can go on a rant at them. If you have a problem with any admin decisions, you direct it to ALL the admins - not just an individual (even when the decision made may have been an individual one).
That's why when an admin edits your post it says "Edited by administrator" and doesn't give out our names - we have a right to carry out action here without having to have insults directed to us individually. End of rant, if you have a problem you can contact us by DC mail.
Stick back on topic from this point - I'll delete any posts that are not on topic from this point.
Where did this group stuff start anyways? I don't recall other freeware communities dividing themselves into little teams.
Hey, it happens all the time in other freeware communities! At first glance, I don't like the idea either (see second/third post in thread ). But after thinking about it for a while, I think it's better this way. I think a lot of us are kinda reluctant to share secrets, story or coding related, with other people, but it's easier if they're part of the same little group.

Hmm.. I've thought about it a bit and it doesn't seem like joining a big team would be much different than just hanging around TDC and posting for help. It would be better to join a small group or start a new one
So, anyone wanna start a new group together? I'm thinking of maybe a group specializing in RPGs or strategy games. But I would need someone to help maintain the website for me.. don't really have enough internet time for maintainence and such. TDC adminage stuff already takes about 2 hours of precious Internet time a week

Well when you consider there are about 10 or so active users here, and you want to join a team with 10 or so active users
I prefer small groups myself. At the moment it's just me and a musician, with some help off a writer (completely a non-game maker). I say go form a ragtag bunch of people who don't have anything to do with games. It might help give your game a more refined feel. Maybe perhaps who knows.
i think im gonna look for people to join after i finish DreamWeaver. Ill def stick to RPG'S and RPG Hybrids, but i think i could learn alot from a decent coder. Thats what always causes me problems Plus if im teamed with a decent coder it would allow me more time to work on spriting which is where my skill lies.
