Statistically, 70% of internet users used IE more than FF. The other 30% was split between multiple browsers, with FF at about 20%. So... Yeah, IE was for conformists at the time if the quoted post. There's been probably a 5% change in those numbers since then (meaning nowadays). I'd say that the stats are probably 80% accurate, too.

Way to over-analyse a joke .
Liquixcat was just using the old "I want to be different like all the other people who are different" line.
I dislike Firefox. I dislike Chrome. I dislike IE. I dislike them all. >_> But I have to deal with one of them, and I choose Chrome. But IE is a close second.
