Yeah but there was some art in that game I didn't like. Sometimes the colours were meant to "glow" but it just looked totally contrasting and stood out like a saw thumb... there was a part with pink things.. I just remember bright pink things

You've just answered your own question Only someone who worships him would consider him a great artist.
Derek isn't really a great artist.. he's a great kliker, probably up in the group with guys like Jonathan Perry, Mark Pay, and Tigerworks. But he's one of the great klikers who has a good art sense. I remember idolizing him at one time.
