Personally I'd love to see a finished RPG, or action RPG done in MMF or the like. I'd especially like to see a Zelda-like game as they should be quite easy to do(thus time can be spent on content rather than "getting it right").

I made a Zelda 3 fan game years ago. I lost the best version and I don't do fan games since "growing up" but the engine was just like LTTP's! Almost perfect...!
I'm not too fond of fan games, because they're often crappy and stupid. But I think I could do an acceptable Zelda game. When somebody who knows what they're doing makes a fangame, it's good. Problem is, by the time they're good they want to make games based off of their own ideas. (Which explains why I haven't made a fangame yet, I was awesome from the beginning. ) We're working on a OldManClayton dungeon crawler right now, so it's sorta like Zelda...
Hmmm... I believe you did. However, click games fall off the radar very quickly. I know you didn't mean Zelda particularly, Roseweave, but the OMC game is the sort you're speaking of. However, its battle system isn't quite standard...

I spent too many of my years trying to make zelda clones
I would have thought top down games would have been easier than some of the platformers people make. The movement is more basic. I remember in the late 90s there were a lot of freeware top down games, shame I can't really remember a single one. Remember this cool looking Star Wars one vaguely.

Yoda Stories (although it wasn't freeware, I have the full version actually)
It was a bit like Zelda
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -

I made one already called Necropolis Rising up here. It has its fair share of problems though. It's not really "easy" to make though, at least not to make right.

I could do it. No problem. Chaos Wave trained me to find workaround to many of MMF2's flaws. But I need some motivation, like $500 when its done Then I'd stop planning it and start making it. Lol, but my action RPG games will be a little scary looking and involve guns and magic.
But chances are there are a lot of those around. Yup, plenty of them in the Downloads section. It's just that nobody really cares about highly complicated games, most of the klik community is perfectly happy with simple, light games like ED, Noitu Love, FactorX, The Line, A game with a kitty, etc. I've seen some great strategy and RPG games in the community throughout the years.. they always get a "WOW!" but usually don't win GOTW
Try the Dreamweaver demo. I liked that one

I dunno.. I think people only really support the games that they make. I bet 80% of ED fans are those people who love making platformers and saw something in the custom movement engine or so.
Hahaha, this reminds me of a few months ago when I actually started a group to make strategy and RPGs. I like how the group's turning out to be
