Okay, so i remember once posting on this site something about expecting the 'summer games drought', and someone said something like there was no such thing. What? Someone said something like there was no such thing. What? I said, someone said something like there was no such thing.
So i ask you; do you think there is such a thing as a 'summer games drought'? I think you can see the evidence on the Projects page with the slowdown in project updates over the last few weeks.
Why would you want to be inside clicking, when the weather is so nice outside (not here in Sacramento though, the sky is white with smoke and it's 100 degrees F)
Perhaps you should try spending a summer in England and anyway, what you just said kinda re-enforces my view; why would anyone wanna spend their time making games when they can be outside in the sun? It's the same in the shops though - hardly any games out during July/August! Have you not noticed??
Diablo 3 is on my to-do list as well. Hoping they announce a deal with Steam and get Blizzard's library up there. Would be good!
Animal Crossing Wii yes! They kinda got the controls working right with the Wii controller and Brawl, so they could technically do a Smash Bros DS. Personally I'm hoping for any news of a new F-Zero Wii or DS.
I've reiterated time and again my hopes for e3, so I'll stick on-topic this time. As for clicking, I have no clue. I think nerds are nerds, and they'll probably stay inside alot. On the console front, there is most definitely a summer drought. No arguing that.
No such thing here in Malaysia. It's 100% summer here. The only difference is whether it's raining or not. But because of the ridiculously high temperatures sometimes, we love rain just the way you colder climate people love summer.
Of course, I heard it's near freezing in Australia at nearly 6 degrees Celsius. When I go there, I'll definitely be kliking
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
Well the UK is supposedly getting a bad rainy summer again, yet I look out my window now and its sunny and warm. The next minute it will be raining and so on. Really can't make it's mind up 2006 was a really good summer here
OldManClayton - yes, the console are suffering again this summer, you're dead right! As for DS Smash Bros. Brawl, i was thinking just this morning "why the hell hasn't this been done before??" It is a smashing idea and would make a great game!
Many times I have thought Smash Bros. DS would be great. I'd be happy with Smash Bros. GBA! That teased Megaman Brawler game would make me happy too. Especially after seeing Blackbeltdude's DS mockup.
Ok, so although it isn't going to be released in the summer, it will be at E3, which is on July 15th, which is summertime, so... I just saw the trailer for Mega Man 9 on IGN, and it looks great. I mean, besides the graphics, which while I don't mind them, many people will probably say it was a mistake to go backwards.
